Misfire with Performance Restricted Message
Hi Guys
I have an XF 5l v8, naturally aspirated 2010 beast... My problem is I have a misfire and the message "Restricted Performance" comes up on the dash, in yellow writing. What is weird is that the misfire does not show on the computer when trying to check for faults. Does anyone know what the problem could be? I changed the plugs about 6 months ago, so not sure if it could maybe be a faulty plug.

Unless you have a code specific for a particular cylinder that is misfiring, you wont be able to tell.
It is quite possible you may have a fouled plug - may need to take them back out and inspect them.
