More efficient map updates on multiple vehicles?
My wife has the same model year (2018) F-Pace as my XE. The process of applying map updates is inefficient, since I'm forced to download the updated map files per VIN, even though the updates themselves appear identical - the only difference seems to be the update.xml file.
I've tried altering the update.xml file to change the VIN to that of the other vehicle, but it fails to install on the vehicle.
Is the VIN encoded in another part of the set of files?
Has anyone developed a workaround for this issue?
