Default Navigation System Map Updates and Routing Improvements

Yesterday I received a letter from Jaguar regarding an upgrade to the Navigation system (Service Program UPS3210/K073). Did anyone else get this notice? It looks like it is for 2011 XF and XK vehicles. Work must be completed prior to April 15, 2011.

Has anyone had this done? What does it do?

Thanks,

Did you have the update performed or find out what it fixed?

Thanks

I took the car in last Tuesday, but apparently, the person who scheduled the appointment had not ordered the parts. while the car was there they performed a X067 safety procedure that blocked the paddles from working in Drive and also disconnected the Jaguar Voice. All without my knowledge. When I spoke to the dealer yesterday I was told they were still waiting for the NAV disk, new rear floor mats and hooks for the rear mats. The service writer said he had no idea why the Jaguar Voice was not working but that he would check. No call back yet.

What's this about rear mat hooks? I don't have hooks for the rear mats. Is this a free upgrade?

I'm taking the car in this Tuesday. The upgrade and installation of the rear floor mats is part of the service notice and is free. They said that a technician needs to attach the anchors for the mats. I'll let you know.
