New brake pads arrived contaminated with lube
I recently purchased some Akebono Euro Ceramic pads for my XJR.
When they arrived the pads had crushed the tube of lubricant that came in the box with the pads and the friction surface of two of the pads have some of the lubricant on them.
The distributor told me to clean them with brake cleaner and they should be fine.
Are these still good/safe to use?
