Hi guys, I have been looking at some performance parts and everyone here talks about the direct air kit from Mina Gallery which looks good and here are two other ones I found online and I like know what you guys think or if any one have bought one of them before. One is "K & amp" APOLLO UNIVERSAL COLD AIR INTAKE SYSTEM, and the second is "Airate" UBI MASTER KIT II INTAKE SYSTEM

I have the Jag XP from Mina on my XK8. Its been on for about 4 years. The only problem I have had with the Mina was that the rubber sealing ring on the exposed filter has begun to dryrot. I actually had to use Permatex gasket maker 2B to seal the thing back up. So their filter is pretty much $%^&.
But the set up works fine. No issues with performance. Just follow directions.

Next time I mess with it I'll need to get a KN that will fit the diameter.

 

My cold air intake from Mina wouldn't work on my 04 XJ8. (Anyone want to buy it?) It kept setting off the computer and it would go into reduced performance. I put the OEM filter system back on and haven't had a problem. I am using the Mina performance stainless exhaust system with no problems.
