I have seen posts by a guy from Estonia who does performance cylinder heads for the inline 6 engines. The bottom end in these seems pretty good, IMHO the head and the tune are the reasons why they at least 60Hp short of what they should be. Aston Martin used the same I6 engines with great results, but I if memory serves they used a different head.

I am contemplating an XJS with a 6 cylinder engine. I would like to swap a manual trans and wake up the engine. The suspension in XJS is actually quite good, you just need to replace a few odds and ends to make it handle.

Also, any sources for bellhousing/adapters for Getrag 265 to Jaguar AJ6/AJ16 and for three-pedal setup would be greatly appreciated.
