full of fluid slips into drive and starts off in 3 or 4 gear
this is my vin number SAJGX2744VCO12402
seems like 1997 has a up to vin 9496? And after that takes a different transmission anyone who can tell me what year will work ? Along with matching up to the connector and transmission module???

 

ANY 5HP24 from a 4.0 sedan (X308) or X100 will bolt up and operate.

 

Just had this happen to me a few minutes ago. Car started jolting forward and screeching then went into limp mode. I'm really starting to hate the 5HP24 transmissions.
