Fairly cool It would be strange having no door to hang on to when you step out.

I cant even imagine how fast that would get messed up in a salty winter .... and what there were a few inches of snow on the ground?

I guess this is why these types of things are done in California and Florida.

If I recall correctly, BMW did this some years ago with the BMW Z1. It did not go over very well. Very risky!

I think that Z1 is quite cool. the doos were similar, but they tucked into the floor, not below it.
I sat in one once, very cool.
I would like to get a Z1 one day.
