Hi. I purchased some Rain X wiper blades from Amazon that they said would fit my Jaguar 2004 Vanden plas however when I go to replace the blades, mine have hoses on them. I don't know where to put the hose on the blades. Any ideas? Or are these just the wrong blades. They are the RAIN X 2 IN 1, 24 and 19 inch blades.
Here's the relevant pages from JEPC (Jaguar Electronic Parts Catalogue) for the US specification X350. Wiper Blades and Screenwash system. I don't see any hoses associated directly with the blades or arms:
Thank you for this. I'm so confused because my windshield wipers have these hoses attached seemingly to the wipers themselves. When I take off the wipers the hoses are still attached to the wipers. Not sure if they come off of there and will attach onto my new wipers.
On my '04, the washer nozzles are integral with the blades. It is really a stupid design. I was able to get the Correct Jag branded blades from Motorcarsltd.com in Houston for a reasonable price. The previous owner had zip-tied the nozzles off of old blades to new "generic" blades but they were impossible to aim. It is really inexcusable that Jaguar would put this into production.
