Default XE Integrated climate control and switchpack wiring

Hi!
Some of you may have seen my other topic on trying to get the XE Headunit powered on "on the bench" ( https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...-bench-286561/ ). It's been months and I am still trying to get this done and as part of that I have made a little troubling discovery...

When I first started this project I got the wiring diagrams from here: https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...manual-209611/
Recently I got myself another "Integrated climate control-module and switchpack" module just to get the proper connector (previously I was using some jumper wires). And this is where the fun starts.

On these wiring diagrams the module is connected to the radio on the SUB CAN (together with the amplifier) via pins 21 and 22 on the switchpack. But those pins aren't actually present in the actual connector (they are present on the module, but not on the connector). The only CAN bus on the switchpack connector seems to be on pins 24 and 25 - which is the main CAN bus. So I am now wondering...

Does anyone have any idea why that is? Is there a difference in model years or equipment levels? Is the switchpack then not connected to the radio "sub can" at all? The reason why I am researching this is because the module itself does not appear in SDD (neither does the headunit), there is also no real signs of life from the module, and I am trying to figure out if that may be the reason why I cannot get the HU turned on.

This diagram you are looking at appears to be based on a full-spec vehicle if you download on internet. If VIN-based diagram from TOPIx, it should display the correct pin information for your specific vehicle. Don't worry.

Not that easy to get the wiring diagram of the switchpack if I don’t have the VIN of the donor car though.

And since it doesn’t show up in SDD I don’t think I can get the VIN either.
