I have had 4 XKR convertibles. the last 3 have developed a really annoying ticking noise, The noise seems to eminate from the door Pillar region. It is intermittent but gets much worse when Ambient temp exceeds 22 degrees, Its is not related to road conditions.

Each time the vehicle was replced with a new one the dealer told me Jaguar had found a fix for the problem it but it always comes back.

Has anyone else had this problem?

From what you describe it could be interference with the occupancy sensing from a mobile phone. If your Dealer is claiming Jaguar had found a fix for the problem then they must know what the problem is!

The vehicles were 2009 [no problems with this model], 2011, 2012, 2013

I have been told what the problem was and I have been to Castle Broimwich and seen the technical reports, but I want to know is whether other owners/users have had similar problems.

If I disclose much more information [at this time] it could influence any responses
