Hi, could someone please list the X308 models/years that were equipped with Connolly Leather and which interior areas used different materials? I have heard mixed information on the topic and I would really like to finally solve this mystery once and for all.

As I understand it:
VDP - used full premium Connolly 'Autolux' Leather throughout
XJR - used standard Connolly Leather throughout
XJ8 - used standard Connolly Leather on front seats only and high-grade vinyl everywhere else.
XJ Sport - I'm not sure

I don't know about the X308's, but I'm pretty sure the X300's are as follows:
VDP- used the Connolly 'Autolux' Leather on all the seats and the center console (not the door panels
XJR- see xj6
XJ6- used Connolly Leather on all seats, but vinyl on center console and door panels

Now, for all cars, I'm nearly certain that the leather was only used on the front parts of the seats (where you make contact with the seats) and vinyl was used on the sides and backs of the seats. You can tell what's vinyl and what's not when your car gets very hot inside. The vinyl will stretch, and the leather won't.
