I have owned 4 Jag S-Types, a 4.0 tw0 4.2's and a 3.0. The one 4.2 I have left is a limited edition with Sport Pkg. and the XK8 interior. Love the car, but the check engine light keeps coming back on. I have had the injectors cleaned, Jaguar has used their injector cleaner they put in the gas tank that the dealership stocks, and the car still misfires on startup about every 60 days. Very frustrating. The coils, plugs, etc... are all good? Any suggestions? This is the first 4.2 that starts rough periodically yet consistently that I have owned. When the check engine light comes on it cannot be turned off unless you go to the dealer. Man, I am tired of the little stuff, love the car but the little crap is driving me crazy, car has 75,000 miles.
