Proposed new engines
the new XJ's and XF's supercharged versions are already stupid fast.
not sure why but Jag it's self kept it down on power.
It's literally only using about 55-60% of it's full potential.
I'll get mine dyno'd soon hopefully and post the whp on 91 octane
so far I'm very happy with my XF,
I think their current engines are perfect for the vehicle right now as it is, as the weight ratio balances out better as well with the smaller motors than the Fords

When Jaguar was sold by ford to Tata, in the contract they are allowed to use Ford engines for quiete some time.
Why don't you stop by our New Member Area - Intro a MUST - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum and introduce yourself?
The only Ford motor they used was the v6 though, right? The v8s have always been a Jag designed (I am sure with Ford help) engine.
