Default Repair Manual

Whatcha say everyone, new question: where can I get either a repair manual for a 1989 Jaguar Vanden Plas (XJ6) or find a good website to download one?

Thanx again

Hey Lumppy47, Tried that. Most of the auto parts stores around here say that it is no longer in circulation. I don't believe that, that's why I'm here.
Is there anywhere to download one on line?

Hey Lumppy47, I did see one on Craigs List for about $24.00. It was a Haynes but I'm not sure about the condition of the book.

check e bay they usually are under 15.00 bucks, find manuals under car parts and scroll till you find one for that fits the years 88 to 94. Also you can find jag shop manuals on discs, if you get both between the two of them you can solve almost anything that needs attention (neither one ic complete so between them both you should have almost any problem covered). If you can find a factory manual (the original one sent to jag dealers by jag they are the best expensive but very complete)

Strange that you can't find a Haynes manual at the auto parts stores. I bought mine at an O'Reilleys store a couple months ago.

BTW, the Haynes manual isn't too great, but beats nothing at all. (Just barely!)

Retromotors, thanks for the tip. Haven't tried O'Reillys. Will give them a try. Lumppy47, will look for both manual and disc. Thanx
