Hi All,

Where can I find top hat sleeves for my 4.2L block? I'm also going to need head studs and head hardware etc. without putting me in the poorhouse.
Any direction would help.

I would think your main cost is going to be the machining of the block to allow a lipped liner to be inserted. This will involve a full strip-down to a bare block.

The block and head are already at the machine shop. It's turning out to be more reasonable than I thought at around $2000 for hot tank, decking, line honing, balancing and blue printing, flywheel lightening. I'm looking at $1000 for 6 sleeves though...and another $350 for head studs. Jeez! I also want to replace all of the other intake/ exhaust/ head studs too. Nobody seems to sell a complete package.
