Question Transmission check - XKR

So I have an xkr that is approaching 100,000 and I know it has the Mercedes transmission with no dipstick. How do I get someone to check the trans. fluid and possibly flush it? What should it cost on a 2001 XKR?

I can see this may be a sensible sub-forum but I suspect you'd do better asking in the right XK one. It may even be answered already there...

There are plugs on side of tranny for checking fluid level. It can be drained and filled but it does require a start up and warm up session during filling to level right. Takes a pressurized can like a insecticide sprayer for filling ($200). Have you asked any of the transmission shops in your area as these trannys are prevalent in the European Cars and I would think tranny shops are up to date on it. Do not know cost, do my own.
