Perhaps a Stupid Question, or maybe because I use a "different" browser than most people on the planet, but I don't see a Befriend link on profile pages. Where is it?

I've spent quite a long time looking for that link on some pages. the FAQ makes it sound like it's right there in plain sight. Hence, the possible problem of the "different" browser that might not render like it should, but this would be the first time it's done that.

This is how mine looks in Firefox:

1. open your Profile page and go to Edit your Friends List (arrowed in red)



2. this opens the Contacts and Friends screen:



3. in Add a member to your list ...., type their forum username

4. add either as a Contact or a Friend (arrowed in red)

5. press the Save changes button (arrowed in blue) to finish

OK, Thank you, Graham, but I think I expressed myself poorly.
I want to be on *someone else's* friend list.
I don't see the BEFRIEND button in THEIR profile as the FAQ instructs it should be.

THEY send YOU a friendship request .........

....... which YOU can then either accept or decline.
