I want to post a question about a problem with the trunk lid lights in my 1995 XJ Vanden Plas. I can't find the general instructions on how to navigate/use the forum website that I have read in the past. Do I go into an existing thread about trunk lights and, if so, how do I post my problem - as a New Thread or other way.

 

The way I look at it is this: Is your problem the same as other threads you have found? If so piggy back on one of them but be aware that you might simply find your answer and have no need to post anything if you don't have anything new to add.

If you can't find a problem similar to yours go ahead and start a new topic. Many don't bother searching at all so all the forums have many common repeated threads and it clogs up the forums with so many re-hashed topics.
