Sorry, changing the location of this, but could not figure out how to delete a post.

 

Members can't delete any post but admins or mods

 

Steve, you can although, edit your own posts, as you know. If you want one of your own posts to be deleted, moved etc, then either make the request in the thread, or send a PM to a Mod. Or use the report button, if it is serious.

However, if the post has already generated replies then it is not likely to be deleted, as this may prove to be unfair to the people who have replied. You get the idea.

 

Thanks guys. I created a thread only to realize I was in the wrong place. It wouldn't have made sense in the new member forum, but should have been in the off topic one. So, in my own stupid simplistic way of dealing with it, I redacted all of the content.

So...now we have THIS thread going...LOL!

 

In that situation steve, just PM one of us chaperones and ask us to move it to ___ section, we'll hop right on it. At least you figured out you could EDIT your post, some members do not realize they have the ability.

 

Well, it gives us something to talk about Steve, I've been worrying for days as to why you should want to delete one of your own posts, I couldn't find anything untoward with them. So I guess I can now stop going through all 581 replies. LOL
