Looks like some sort of replica (kit) car to me and not a vintage Jaguar. Those modern profile wheels, VW tail-lamps and rack-and-pinion steering are instant give-aways.

Definitely not a Jaguar ! It is a "special" designed to look like a 1930s car, which may have Jaguar parts in it, like front and rear suspension and engine/gearbox. If you can get a photo of the engine compartment it would help, also a pic of the front and rear suspensions, and the interior, especially the dash panel.

Cars like this are still made, and here is an example: -

Another company called "Adams" also made replicas some years ago

Also have a look through the photos on here: -

Of course, if it was a real SS100 it would be worth a fortune, but it ain't, so value won't be all that much.

I have seen one and it's a fiberglass body on a 1970's Mustang II chassis and I think has the Ford 2.3 4 cylinder. I don't believe there is anything Jaguar in it, it's a complete replica. Not sure how it would be registered or insured. Kit car perhaps? Probably not worth much and a tough sell I would imagine.

I saw one in perfect shape when through Barrett Jackson for $7800, so consider that an upper limit. As it stands now ( does it even run?) my guess it's probably worth $500 tops, or whatever you can part it out for.

Volkswagen power? Seen them in the St. Louis area up to $7500 in decent shape. Ford 4cyl in good shape $10,000, just a kit.
