Mark VII Misadventures

Are you saying that the only difference between the two is that on one, the ports are blanked off with rubber caps; but all the valves and gubbins are inside the unit, just like the 6 port one? So that as long as you remove the rubber caps, the 3 port one is identical to the 6 port one?

Which makes sense. The 3-port normally lists for about $110 and the 6-port normally lists for around $130. It's probably cheaper to cap off the "not needed" ports on the 3-port and call it a day than it is to reconfigure the machinery and re-design the gubbins for a 3 vs 6 port.
