Question Spin on oil filter

Hi fellow Jag enthusiasts. Mk8, I am considering retrofitting a spin on oil filter adapter. I have been warned that they may not be good due to the restrictive nature of oil flow through the adapter. Has anyone had experience with these in a Mk 8. Some makes may be good? Some bad? Thanks.

I put one on my Mark VII and thought the machining job was high quality. I had not heard any rumors of the flow being restricted but even if it does, having a more efficient filter has to be worth something.
Where are you located? I still have the Telcalemit filter head and spin-on adapter sitting on my shelf looking for a new home.
