One of my favorite guys in old cars was Don Ernst who had a Mk. V Jaguar he used to show at concours called "Old Chap" back when he lived in Marina Del Rey
Then he had a Ferrari Superamerica 400 and last I saw him, was partnered in a Lambo Miura. Then he got divorced and moved up near Avila Beach. I found his number once but lost it.


I want to get in touch with him to interview him about how he used to make those barn finds. He was about 6' tall, blonde hair, mustachioed and look like a British regimental officer circa 1948. I bet he is still collecting cars.
