Description:
2008 XJ Super V8 Emerald Fire metallic green. I missed my chance to purchase this from the original owner many years ago however it popped up for sale again so I picked it up in the beginning of 2023 and have added under 2k miles on it.
Hate to let this beyond rare car and color combination go however it now simply sits in the garage collecting dust and could use the space for other car projects. Also have an 08 XJR that is begging for an upgraded Kenne Bell supercharger 
The Carfax does show a front end accident. I recall the original owner stating they hit something (animal?) on the highway and only had to replace the front bumper. I can confirm this, the front bumper and lower grille were replaced with OE Jaguar parts. Headlights, fenders, upper grille, etc... all appear original.
All VIN tags still present.
Overall body condition is good. There are a few small impactions here and there as seen in the pictures. Worst is the trunk lip spoiler that has clear coat failing. This is a relatively inexpensive repair for a body shop and would be a great time to have them do paint-less dent repair / touchup anything else.
Interior shows its age in a few spots such as:
-The driver side door panel grab handle
-Drivers seat has a tear.
-Trunk cargo mat is stained
The headliner is NOT sagging and most of the worn parts are available used on eBay, fairly cheap.

According to the dealership document, the customer stated the engine overheated. Dealership diagnostics revealed: "BORE SCOPED CYLINDER #7 AND FOUND THE INTAKE VALVE BENT AND STICKING DOWN INTO THE COMBUSTION CHAMBER. ENGINE HAS JUMPED TIMING."

Everything posted is actual mileage. I do not know the entire story of the replaced engine at the dealer, just the records and what the original owner mentioned years ago when I spoke to him. The previous owner to me also heard the same from the original owner about the engine/debris on highway etc...
The pdf at the bottom of the first post shows all the work the original owner did at the dealership.
Undercar pictures are simply showing the suspension arms, wheel bearings, etc... are now changed. Also underneath and wheel well pictures to show condition under the car as is, it's clean.
If I were keeping the car, I'd tackle the entire cooling system as the next project. I can see some hoses were changed and the expansion tank looks newer, however I have no documented history on the water pumps.
I am selling it for a couple reasons:
-Started my own car restoration business and I need the space. No way this car sits outside.
-I have another 08 XJR so having one is enough for now...
