hi all i`ve had this car for 25 years now

but have made a start on the rust here`s some pics

picked up a good wing it`s had a nose panel

bit of a test fit

Wow, you have no problem jumping to the task !
What's the under carriage like, eg. spring pockets, pan hard rod bracket etc.
With that sort of rust on the front fender, I would be surprised if there wasn't some sort of rot some where else.

hi alot of that work was done a few years ago but the ££££`s ran out
so we just did a quick fix on the wings (fenders) but they have gone to far
to save now so out with the grinder will post more pics later

Great job ,one of my fave cars and Daimlers are rarer I guess

had the grinder out again here`s a few more pics
cut away the rust

a test fit and fix with rivets for now

made this panel with sheet steel
[/URL]
and fits here
[/URL]
but been rained off today so i`ll have to wait for next weekend to do more

well a bit more done
the panel cost a few bob (thats £££££`S) but it fits well
