My MK2 was purchased without a brake vacuum tank. I have fabricated a stainless tank and it appears to need a nipple welded in. What is the correct size to allow the Jaguar check valve to be affixed? The broken check valve I have looks like 1/8 NPT. Thanks

 

Called one of our venders and it is 1/8 npt. I can finish fabrication and I ordered the valve for next week delivery.

As I recall when fitting my valve into the vacuum reservoir tank (called a "Reservac" tank by Jaguar), the thread on the valve is tapered to make the seal.
