Default Cranking a 3.4 mk11 manually

Hello, I recently purchased a Mk 11 3.4 auto, which has been standing in a garage for 23 years, overall it is in very good order, but I would like to be able to turn the motor manually to make sure it has not seized after sitting so long, however there is no crankshaft pulley nut, it is held on by a series of bolts and locking tabs, is there a tool for this? any suggestions welcome, regards Kenny.

Even with the locking tab in place there is enough of the big nut exposed to get a socket on there and a torque bar.
Remove the spark plugs and put a fair amount of penetrating oil in the bores _ leave it sit for a couple of days first.
When I get a chance I'll check to see what size the nut is.
When I'm timing the ignition, I use this method to carefully align the timing mark.

At any rate there should be big nut there _ maybe it's different for an automatic, but I can't see that.
Is it missing ?

Hello Jeff, thanks for the reply, once I got the radiator out of the way, I could see the arrangement and took off the locking tab that let me get a socket on the nut, I have had oil down the bores for a couple of weeks, so much to my surprise the motor turned without any effort, so I will carry on from here, best regards Kenny.

Well I'm glad you found your nut ! or bolt rather _ I went and checked today for the size and it's 1 5/16 inch's.
If you haven't already done so, turn it over several times to make sure none of the valves stick.
It would be unlikely they would, but it if one did, it would be disastrous.
