Default Daimler MK2 differences

I bought a pair of MK2's, one a stripped body in very solid condition and the other body rotted, but with full interior and running gear.
Just found out the solid body is a Daimler.
besides the grill, what else is different between the 2 cars?
will the sheetmetal on the front of the Daimler accept the MK2 grill? or does it need to be cut out and replaced?

grill should be ok,
seat mounts are different, the 2 light on the rear inside are,in jag but not Daimler,
head lining, rods in jag not in daimler and no fixings for them in Daimler,
gear box tunnel in Daimler bigger than jag,
vin plate on inner wing on Daimler, and fire wall on jag,
plus I bet lotsof things I have mist.

if it is the Daimler version of the MK-2 then it also has a V8 engine with one carb.

The Daimler has the V8 engine with twin carbs. It also has a radiator with a built in oil cooler below the main radiator body. The front seats are well different and the headlining is solid without listing wires. The badging on the boot lid is different as are the boot plinth and radiator plinth and radiator fan ducting. I have been told that the quarter lights on the front doors should have a push button lock to prevent opening from the outside. (Mine does not have this feature)

up to you,
but someone could still tell,
the way the front seats mounts you will allways see them unless you weld in the jag ones,
