Default help with rear bumper advice please

Hi, I am new to forums (and Jaguars). I work for a 71 year old man,(not in a car related business at all) who has started restoring his second jaguar in his spare time. It is a 1967 MK2 340 (I am told..I don't know about cars personally). He has sent the rear bumper away for re-chroming, the problem is that one of his employee4s decided to help him out in their spare time, and they have removed the bumper for him. Now they do not know how to fit it back on. Can anyone help? a description? maybe with pictures? any website links to a how to site or video or anything?
Any advice would be very much appreciated.

Thank you

This is from my manual for a 61 MK2 3.8 sedan. You should be able to find a Parts Catalogue or Service Manual online for his car, kind of essential item.
I am only 70, but I know this.

Always take pictures of anything removed during restorations, greatly helps on the refitting of the pieces, even if just from an Iphone.

Default thankyou

Hi Thank you for the advice so far. He has got catalogues and a couple of suppliers he uses all the time. He has just finished restoring one, and this is his second. The main problem is that he just didn't know how to actually fit the bumper back on. I have printed out that diagram, it could help. Taking pictures is a good idea. He has taken pictures of each stage of the restoration for the last car, but none that he would use to refer back to for re-fitting items, just more of a diary of before and after. He hasn't got a mobile phone, or a digital camera, and has been taking pictures with a disposable camera, where you get the film developed. I think I might suggest a digital camera to him...would help him in lots of ways.
Thanks again for your advice

Its a very long time since I rebuilt my Mark 2, and it was the model with the very large bumpers, not the slimmer ones of the 240.

I found this website with pictures, so have a look. Bumper details are some way down the page. The mounts are different to the ones I had, to cater for the valence extension below the much slimmer bumper of the 240/340
