Default Jack/Lift - Is This The Standard or Is There a Built In Jack?

The attached picture is of the screw jack that was in the trunk.

Is this the stand jack used to lift a 1964 Daimler?
Someone told me there are four built in jacks that lift the car.
One inserts a long rod, turns, and the jacks descend lifting the car.
( Kind of like the Mach 5 in the Speed Racer cartoon. )

But I cannot find the insert area or the built in jacks.
Do these jacks exist?

That's the correct jack, the jacking points are at the bottom of the rocker panel just at the front and rear.
They should have rubber plugs in them.
The old Phantoms Rolls Royce's had a built in jacking system.
If they are gone, then someone has removed them or they're rusted away.
That picture is a Mark 1, but it's the same for Mark2 and Daimler.

AFAIK no Jaguar ever had a built-in jacking system. It was fairly popular on luxury cars before WW2 and a short time after. The standard item on a Mark 2 was the triangular sort clipped on to the back bulkhead.

That is the correct jack.

Check the jacking points very carefully before attempting to lift the vehicle. They are prone to rust.

I fear for rusted weak jacking points! I prefer to use a hydraulic jack and then axle stands. I even carry them in the boot!
