Late Mk2 door chrome bead
Pulling up an old thread that I started 5 years ago. I'm all set with the rubber seals and the chrome trim/seal-holder pieces. Should there also be a clipped-in window scraper/frizzie like you would find in pre 1966 Mk2's on the outside or is the chrome trim/seal combo on the outside all that is needed.
It looks like the inside window frizzie is clipped to a bracket and the bracket is screwed into the wood trim. Is this correct? If so, they would not be in place until the wood is attached and that is likely one of the last things that would be done to the door (?)
Thanks
Craig
