Any suggestions for a suitable sealant?

Den Braven also makes a product/sealant.

I'm not sure about it in this application, but a flexible sealant/adhesive that I've used and found to be outstandingly good in various domestic applications is Geocel Works. It has the particular advantage that it doesn't require surfaces to be dry.

Den Braven makes sealants that can be applied to wet surfaces or not completely dry surfaces.

I have decided not to mess around and get a new seal for the windscreen. The recommendation from this thread are the COH Baines seals. Before I order is this the best chance I have for a properly fitting seal? I would rather spend a few more euro on a seal that will fit nicely.

Yes in my case. Properly moulded with no puckering on corners.
