Hi all
made a start on my 2 door mk2,
going to run 4.2 v8,manual 6 speed box and stand alone ECU,and
run on BMW 19" wheels.

What are the plans with regards to suspension and brakes?

back will be ha4 axel,with a 288 diff from a v12 irs,5 link coilover springs,bigger
vented disc,
not sure about the front,but bigger disc xjs uprights may use front clip but weld it in place,

Dave, I assume this is the Daimler? I like the coupe profile a lot. The front window frame extension should be pretty simple - simply braze a channel extension forward of the rear vertical piece and rechrome. Not sure what you're planning for the rear - fixed glass? If you go that route I'd recommend sourcing some mile steel channel that comes close to original profile - that way you can weld which is a lot easier than a torch. Keep us posted on your progress and hang in there - you have a lot of work ahead of you.

hi just wondering what distance the new arches are from were the rear spats use to sit im thinking i will build my own thinking about 60 mil or 2.5 inches from were the old sat on
