I checked with Powermaster, they don't do Jags with power steering.

On the other hand, the alternator I bought a year or so ago cost a lot less than that Dynalite. And it had an XK engine, manifolds, fuel injection system, gearbox, and even a power steering pump attached (though via the engine, not a tail shaft). Personally, as someone who prefers to contain the overall cost of his hobby, is not interested in concours, and has no great commitment to originality, I'd think hard about what alternatives I could improvise (not botch) before resorting to the 60 amp Dynalite. However, it is a very nice piece of work.

Jose contact Accuspark https://www.accuspark.co.uk/dynamatortype4.htm and ask for details of their C42 with PAS take off. If they don't or won't export to the USA let me know and I can send you one. I can buy it and send it to you as a second hand unit so there is no tax involved as long as you pay for the item and the postage. lol. They only weight 3.5 kg compared to the original C42 that weighs around 1.5 tonne.

If you want to drive and put miles on your Jaguar in today's fast paced roads it is good to improve your visibility with an LED headlight. I can see great with my Vision X 7" headlights which is driven by a 140 amp Power-Master alternator and yes I have every imaginable electronics in my Jag (power steering, AC, bi-amp focal sound system with JL subs, off road refrigerator, laptop, laser jet printer, 100% duty cycle air compressor, front/rear cameras, front/rear/inside cameras, alarm, PIAA LED driving lights). There are plenty of quality LED options as the Jag uses a standard 7" headlight, get and LED and enjoy your car, drive more guys, you only live once...
