Seats
general answer here: if you mean fit without modifications, probably not, but chances are they will fit with modifications to the 4 mounting points on the floor. Otherwise the only way to verify is to try.
A MK2 is an MK2 major changes like seats mountings, were never made!!!!!!. I am not including the S type as I have little knowledge of this vehicle. Put some measurements up and we will check.

First let me say you all are great. Thank you so much!!! Second thing, would these seats from a 1967 Mark II fit in a 1967 S Type? I realized, to my embarrassment, the 57 is in fact a Mark I.
Since the S-Type is a "repurposed" Mk 2, I would guess that the hard points are the same and the seats would interchange (but again, that is just my guess). The S-Type seats were a bit different in style from the Mk 2's (no picnic tables, more pleats, for the S) - probably the factory put a couple more quid into the S interior. I have a fuzzy memory that the S console was different from the Mk 2, so maybe that impacted the seat cushion width. There were a couple of running changes even on the Mk 2's seats - going from 7 to 8 pleats, adding more toe room for the back seat passengers - and the really rare optional Reutter reclining seats.

The S-type seat mountings are different, and so are the seats. Even the rears are different !. Why Jaguar did this only they know, and the chaps who designed it are now all dead.

the S type and the 420 are slightly wider and longer than the MK-2, so there was more space inside.
I did not know the reclining seats were rare, my '65 S type has them, but then mine was originally destined for California, and it looks like Jaguar added more equipment to California cars. Mine also came with electric antenna and a Lucas power antenna switch (spring up, spring down, off in center).
below is a picture of an S type interior without the seats installed, (not my car) showing the seat-mounting points. The 420 interior is identical except for the Dash.

Jaguars to be sold in the California market were "branded" with a "J/6*" aluminum placard placed above the factory VIN placard on the bulkhead/firewall. The aluminum placard was some kind of State-Registration requirement for the Jaguar distributor, which I believe was in San Francisco. They also came with am-radios, power antenna, and reclining seats. Of course the AM radio is totally useless nowadays but back in the 1960's they were not.
below is a picture of the toggle switch found in my S type for the electric antenna, shown to the left of the radio. I installed a 1980's XJ-6 radio and had to remove the entire console to get it installed right, that's when I noticed the antenna switch says "Lucas".
also a picture of the "J/64" placard in my car. The car was built in 1964 to be sold and registered as a 1965 model.

FYI, To me the seats are very important so you feel comfortable and are safely supported in any car. It really is not a big deal to have some minor modifications done either yourself if you are handy or just pay any performance shop that does fabrication of any brand car to make any seat fit into your Jaguar.
There are at least half a dozen that I know on this forum that are like me taking a very modern Jaguar seat or seats and modifying them so they fit and look like it came that way from the factory. As an example (see attached pics) I am taking my Jaguar 1965 3.8s and it now sports full electric reclining leather seats used in modern Jaguar Vadenplas in the front and I had an upholstery shop help modify the back and we were able to section and fit the Vadenplas rear seats to match and so that they feel very comfortable when I have people in the back seats. It is not a big undertaking so my recommendation is put what you want and just modify it so you are happy as it is your car and you are the one that is important....
