On the whole, new springs have a poor reputation for sagging. The blame is often placed on materials, but I also wonder about manufacturing methods. Personally, I'd prefer to buy them from a local spring maker with a good reputation rather than any of the spares retailers. If the front of the car appears to have sagged, it's worth checking mountings and spacers before getting into new springs.

Yes ~ Orlando bought a new set of front saggers. Changed supplier & all is well & he has run on a fair bit of mileage since then. He really uses his car. There is no doubt there is some poor wire out there.

Orlando first set.

Orlando second set

Mine reset to factory spec ~ zero mileage. No packing pieces required. Absolutely spot on & level. Back & front to plant method. Some settling to do.

Hi Bill, do they just clear the front or rear arches? Also, is the ride stiffer? Thanks, Jerry.
