Welcome to the forum.

I doubt that it is worth a lot, but it is nice to have.

Good to see you.

Welcome to the forum mate.

Well it's worth whatever anyone is willing to pay for it, probably a nicer keepsake than a money-spinner...

Welcome to the forum XR8DONUT,

Good to have you here with us at Jaguar forums.

Your mascot appears to be the 7.25 inch first version which was introduced in December 1938 as an option at a cost of two guineas (£2.20p). I've seen these in very good condition and mounted on a plinth reported as selling for up to £400 but condition is everything and it will be a very limited collectors market. Strangely, it is rare to see a 1938 Jaguar SS with a mascot fitted.

For the Jaguar you are considering, follow this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/e-type-xk-e-59/ to the E-Type section for help, advice and information. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for info on regular issues.

You can also visit the Australia/New Zealand Region section by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/australia-new-zealand-51/
to find other members in your country.

Enjoy the forum.

Graham
