Hello all,

My wife and I purchased our Jaguar in Dec of 2009. It's a White 1997 XJ6L and had around 109k miles (now it has 136k).
We live in Oklahoma City and have 5 children (only had 3 when we bought it).
I wouldn't have ever owned a Jag, but my wife has wanted one for as long as she can remember.
It's a great running and driving car. Handles the road great and has plenty of power.
When we bought it, the check engine light came on and stayed on for a while. Over the past two years, I have searched frantically to find the cause, and just last month did it. It was a broken vacuum hose under the L/H front of the engine bay. Problem solved. Well at least that one. I'm going to search the threads for info on the other ones (problems).

P.S. This things leaks oil like crazy.
