Default New owner of 1997 Jaguar XJ6

This is the 2nd Jaguar I have owned is the last 10 years. Imust say that theJaguar, even with the years it has, still rides better than most vehicles.... even the new ones.

I am located in Miami, Fl.

I would appreciate a suggestion for someone of where to buy little knick knacks like plastic rivets and the radio button from an online source. The dealer is expensive and the plastic pieces are the worst!

Welcome aboard :-)

Best to post actual questions in the X300 section but as long as we're here.....

Radio button: which one?

I've not found a source for any exact replacements but did find that a generic replacement (from Radio Shack, I think) worked fine to replace the round volume knob.

Plastic rivets: can you be a bit more specific?

Cheers
DD

Welcome to the forum,

Good to hear you're enjoying the XJ6 and only have minor issues with it.

Follow this link XJ X300 / XJR - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to the section for your model.

Either here or in the X300 section, Doug will give you the answer on parts sources.

Remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help other to give you relevant information.

Welcome to the forum,

Good to have you with us.
You may find Autozone or some of the others will have the plastic rivets.

If you haven't done so already you should add your car details to your signature to help others to help you.
