Always known that Jags were good cars - but never had the finances to dive into the market.
In December both my wife's and my cars broke down (mine fatally, hers not so much). This necessitated a very quick purchase - we were very blessed that a friend had a car for sale for a unbelievable price.
A $1,000 later, we were the proud owners of a 1995 Jaguar XJ6. With only 160k miles it was a God-send. It does have some TLC needed (have a few minor projects to work on) but it is a very strong performing and amazing vehicle.
After 13 years of marriage my wife is finally able to drive a car that she can be proud of.

Welcome to the forum jesusfreak4x4,

The X300 tech section XJ X300 / XJR - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum has the advice and information you need for the TLC projects. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top there is a good place to start for info on regular issues.

Remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

Enjoy the forum.
