Hello,

Just joined, and read the new members thread, and decided to say hello! My name is Randy, I'm 32, and this is my first Jaguar. She is a 2004 XJ8 with 101K miles. I'm having a few minor issues, and soon will be posting in the appropriate area for those problems. I've had this car for about one week, and I must say I love it. The Jaguar dealer has been most helpful on 2 current recalls, and offered me a new model loner Jag, and a free 140 point inspection while my car is in the shop for break pipes, and new program. This is a great forum, I have been reading about issues similar to mine for days, and hope to be here for a long time. Thanks for reading!

Good to hear you're finding useful information here. I hope the issues with your new 2004 XJ8 aren't serious.

Sounds like you've already found your way around so no need to give you a link to the X350 tech section.

Remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
