I am having a problem starting my 2004 X-type diesel. I drive 90 miles a day to work and back and then one morning it battles to start.
The dash lights are bright but the engine just labours. I thought the battery was at fault so tied jump staring to no avail so put a new one in.
With a little hesitation it stated and ran for 10 minutes. I switched off and tried again but no joy. I have had a problem with the locking via the key fob in the past.

Hello,
Not much is so frustrating as getting in the car one morning for work and it won't start.
I hope you can get that fixed soon.
