Hi Folks,

Its almost a month now driving my 2002 S-Type Jag without car radio. I'd traveled out of town with a company vehicle for 3 weeks, by the time i got back, my Jag could not start. I discovered that the battery had drained, and memory got lost. I jump-started it, and discovered the radio was asking for a code.

This was kinda new to me, as i was not provided with a code when i procured the vehicle. Its boring now driving without radio in it, and want to find out from this forum if there is anything i can do to have my car radio back in working mode. How can i have a code, or is there any other way i can reset or clear the memory, or bypass to override the code? I need your help guys. Remember its a 2002 S-Type.

Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.

Any Jaguar Dealer can look up the 4-numeric radio security code from the VIN. In the UK this is a regular request as the radio code cards often go missing in used cars and I can't recall any reports of them charging for this. Try a Malawi dealer first.

I still have not yet found helpful information to help unlock my Jaguar S-Type Locked Radio. Its kinda boring driving such an impressive car with no sound in it. Do they sell the radio codes, if yes how can i buy? We do not have any Jaguar dealer in Malawi, so if anything we only transact online.

Please help.

What details do you want me to provide for me to be assisted. Like i said, its a 2002 3.0 Sport Jaguar S-Type. Do you need the VIN Number? is this what you are talking about?

Hey Guys,

I tried the Radio Code Generator, and my last Serial details are M18979, and when i press button 5 on the Radio, it says ''Serial Number invalid''

Any suggestions?
