Talking 2002 STYPE X200 V6 - Dramgi - Cootamundra Australia

Hello all,

Last weekend was my first with a car that I have been waiting a while for and I know it's not the most expensive or the best ever made but it was what I could afford and I will look after it and care for it and give it respect.

My name is Stuart and I live in Cootamundra, where Don Bradman was born.

I am still learning about my Jaguar. I will take any constructive criticism to learn about the car.

It is Pacific Blue in color according to the detail, and all the relevant documentation came with the car.

More detail to come as I learn to drive this forum!

Welcome to the forum Stuart,

Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.

I can see you've already found your way to the S-Type forum so there's no need for a link to it from me.
The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues.

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

You can also visit the Australia - New South wales / ACT Region forum by following this link Australia - New South Wales / ACT - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum
to find other members in your region.

Enjoy the forums.

Graham

Welcome.

You and the Jag will be just fine.

Remember a few things for smooooth ownership:

ALL Jags are female.
Drive it as it was designed, baby a Jag, and you will pay.
Catch up maintenence, it will be there, ask if unsure, PLEASE, and get it done.
Clean fuel, clean oils/fluids, clean air, it will last forever.

My Black one has done 46000kms in just over 2 years. The catch up was done in the first week, and I rarely lift the bonnet, and I DRIVE it.

A/C comp died today, BUT, the LHR door that was having a hissy moment (for a week actually) now works fine. Not sure of their relationship, but its a Jag, and female.
