HI, my name is Larry and I'm new to the forum. My '03 XJR now has 195,000 miles and, no matter I love driving it and it runs great I do wonder if it is time to say goodbye. It has been expertly cared for, all recommended maintenance done and new parts as needed. Lot's of routine and preventive maintenance but no major engine, transmission or subsystem problems.
Will my luck soon run out? Driving on 'borrowed miles'?
I really took forward to the forum members responses!

Welcome to the forum Larry,
Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.
Jaguars respond to regular driving better than being garage queens. However, high miles together with fourteen years old makes for low resale value. I'd continue to enjoy it until something expensive fails ...... and that could be a long time.
Follow this link XJ XJ8 / XJR ( X308 ) - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to the X308 forum for help, advice and information. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues.
Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
You can also visit the US Western Region forum by following this link US Western - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to find other members in your region.
Enjoy the forums.

Hello, Larry,
Too many people worry so much about whether their car will suddenly become dog waste that it takes all the fun out of driving. Something is bound to break at some time, but until it does, why borrow trouble?! Just drive the wheels off!
And then when something Does break, post your question in here and someone will tell you how to fix it, so you can drive the wheels off again!
Welcome to the forums from ElinorB.
