Default 2004 S Type

Good Day All,
My name is Dr. Mason and I reside in Virginia. I have had several types of Jaguars. I am having a problem currently with my S Type 2004 Model. At first I was having a Gear Box Fault Problem then today the vehicle just went crazy. The check engine light came on, the performance restriction keeps flashing along with gear box fault. I was stuck in traffic and the vehicle did not want to start...luckily I was able to return home safely. I love Jaguars but it seems that they do not love me.. any suggestions?

Welcome to the forum Beautiful,

Sorry to hear you're having transmission and MIL issues.

Follow this link S-Type / S type R Supercharged V8 - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to the S-Type section for help, advice and information. Posting the DTC's will help everyone focus.

Remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User ID button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

You might also want to visit the Mid Atlantic US Region section by following this link Mid Atlantic - MD VA DC DE WV - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to find other members in your region.

Hope it's easily resolved. Enjoy the forum.

Graham
