2005 xk8 drivers seat recline issue
HiI'm new to owning a Jaguar and also being in a forum.
I gave a 2005 xk8 and the driver's side seat is reclined all the way back but will not return forward at all. The switch makes no sound when in the forward position. All other power functions work. Originally the driver's heated seat didn't work either but I fixed it (sort of) by switching seat modules. Naturally the passenger heated seat doesn't work now but I have a module on order.
Switching modules didn't fix the recline function and I now think it's the switch.
So can someone tell me how I can jump the forward recline function so I can prove it's the switch and not the motor, and be able to drive the cat until I get the switch or motor replaced?
