Does anyone know how to move the front seat if it is locked in position, I cannot reach the front bolts.

How is it locked, does it move at all. Swap the modules over and try that.

I cant get the seat to go back far enough to be able to reach the screws at the front, it will only move so far then stops. I want to switch the modules to make sure that is the problem. it reclines back but will not return & also will only slde so far back

Power the seat back as far as it will go then power the front of the seat as high as it will go. The module is only held on by 2 X 10mm bolts.

If you can do the above you should be able to swap the modules.

Worth checking the tiny leaf switch is lined up at the inside back of the runner and is not fouled .

Unfortunately not, but you should be able to see it, follow the seatbelt buckle down to the seat and look toward the back.

Welcome to the forum jedwards,

The idea here in the Intro forum is you tell us something about yourself and your vehicle - not post technical questions. We can then give you some advice on posting to the forum.

I've deleted your post from the end of a thread in XK8/XKR forum as I don't think you have a 1996-2006 model .......

Thanks for the Welcome guys!!!

Still cannot get to the front screws/bolts on the front of the seat as it will not go back or high enough to reach, is there any way of over riding or manually moving the seat?
