Default 2007 super8 air suspension

Hi I am new to the group, I have a 2007 xj super8 with an air suspension issue. Did front brakes and looks like passenger side air shocks blow and car dropped or they were going. I ordered arnott air shock however is there a procedure to follow disabling system before I jack up rear of car passenger side. Also do you need to change front shocks in pairs.
Appreciate some guidance.
